Sensors, gateways and cloud linked by LoRaWAN

LoRaWAN · Juice IoT platform

From sensor to dashboard,
managed end to end.

LoRaWAN sensors and gateways, a managed ChirpStack network, and the Juice platform to see and act on the data — or your own systems, if that's where it needs to go.

What we offer

One supplier from the sensor to the data

LoRaWAN lets small, battery-powered sensors report over kilometres rather than metres — meters, temperature, humidity, contact and more — without cabling or a SIM in every device. What usually makes it hard is everything around the sensor: gateways, a network server, device keys, payload decoding, and somewhere useful for the data to land.

We supply and run that whole chain. Sensors and gateways are specified for your site and registered on the network before they ship, so data starts flowing when they're switched on. Juice, the IoT data platform from our sister company Ausmeter, turns it into dashboards, alerts and incident response — or we forward it to the platform you already use.

The offer

Five parts, one point of contact

Take the whole chain, or just the parts you are missing.

LoRaWAN devices

Sensors and gateways specified for the site and the measurement, then registered and tested before they ship.

ChirpStack management

Gateways, applications and device keys managed for you on ChirpStack, AU915 and AS923. Gateways set themselves up on first boot.

Data forwarding

Uplinks delivered to your own systems over MQTT or HTTP, or published into a Cumulocity tenant.

Juice platform

Dashboards, site maps and alerts by in-app, email or SMS, with escalation and incident response built in.

Development and integration

Device profiles and payload mapping for new sensor models, and integration with the systems you already run.

How it works

From the field to your screen

Four stages. We set up and look after all of them, so none of them becomes your problem.

01

Sense

LoRaWAN sensors measure temperature, humidity, CO₂, contact state, meter pulses and more, on years of battery.

02

Transmit

Small packets travel kilometres over LoRaWAN radio — no cabling, no SIM in every device.

03

Collect

Robustel gateways pick them up and carry them back over cellular. They configure themselves the first time they power on.

04

Deliver

ChirpStack decodes each reading. It lands in Juice as dashboards and alerts, or goes to your own systems over MQTT or HTTP.

Juice IoT

Everything you need to run a sensor fleet

Juice is the IoT platform your sensors report into, built by our sister company Ausmeter — for operations teams who need to know what is happening, what it affects and who is dealing with it.

See everything

Every site, sensor and state in one view

  • Real-time IoT visibility

Monitor every connected site, sensor, channel and latest reading from one operational dashboard.

  • Portfolio-wide status mapping

See every site on a map with colour-coded freshness and status, then move directly from a portfolio exception to the affected site or device.

  • Site-centred operational context

Combine IoT conditions with the site, device location and utility operations so users understand where an issue is and what it affects.

  • Door, window and equipment-state monitoring

Clearly show whether doors, windows, leaks or other binary inputs are open, closed, active or clear, including when the state last changed.

Understand the data

The right chart, and a score for how far to trust it

  • Powerful multi-sensor analytics

Compare temperature, humidity, CO₂ and other measurements using grouped, synchronised charts with shared crosshair and hover interaction.

  • Purpose-built sensor visualisations

Automatically present data using the right format — including trends, gauges, state timelines, heatmaps, three-axis vibration and spectrum charts.

  • Data confidence you can trust

Score sensor data using reporting freshness, expected cadence, sample completeness, quality flags and critical alarms — not merely whether a device appears online.

  • Proactive device-health monitoring

Detect overdue reporting, low battery, poor signal and abnormal readings before silent devices create operational blind spots.

Act fast

The right people told, and someone accountable

  • Smart alert notifications

Notify the right people through in-app alerts, email or SMS when thresholds are exceeded, devices stop reporting or conditions change.

  • Escalation that drives action

Create response groups, require acknowledgement and automatically escalate unresolved alerts to another team after a defined period.

  • Intelligent incident response

Bring related alarms together into a single incident, show the likely cause and blast radius, and guide operators through response and recovery.

  • Complete alert history and accountability

Track alarm opening, acknowledgement, reset, recovery, delivery status, escalation stage and responding operator.

Run it at scale

One set of rules for every device and site

  • Flexible sensor profiles

Normalise different devices into consistent channels, units and labels while distinguishing interval readings, state changes and fixed attributes such as hardware or software versions.

  • Configurable operating ranges

Apply warning and critical thresholds per channel, including separate high and low limits and clearing margins that prevent noisy alarm cycling.

  • Enterprise fleet administration

Manage tenant applications, LoRaWAN routing, ChirpStack integration, gateways, device profiles, credentials and expected reporting intervals centrally.

  • Reduced telemetry cost and noise

Store continuous measurements at intervals, state values only when they change, and device metadata only when necessary.
